For Randolph Area - Joint Base San Antonio Recreation Park: We stayed in the sunny side park. Very nice, a bit dusty due to dirt roads in the fam camp. All other roads were paved. The winter storm came thru and froze the water supply pipes. They fixed the pipes extremely fast. All staff was polite and friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

For Randolph Area - Joint Base San Antonio Recreation Park: This park is super nice the staff is very friendly. We pulled in very late the first night and were escorted to an electric site for the night that was pull through. The next morning we were registered in and given a very nice spot in the full hookup area that is level on concrete ( back in). I was super excited that we were close to the laundry building having been on the road for awhile, but the washers were broken and that’s why I gave 4 stars. But the view is amazing and there are deer everywhere! It’s worth stopping!

For Randolph Area - Joint Base San Antonio Recreation Park: Brought my 21 ft tt here for its initial shakedown. The spots are definitely fifth wheel friendly and have a large space between them. When you call to make reservations they will give you a spot on the Ft Sam side since it's anything smaller than a fifth wheel or very long trailer. The Randolph side is less used and therefore quitter. Facilities are very good on both sides but I believe the Randolph side is better and they will give you a spot on the Randolph side if you ask and they have room. The dogs had plenty of room and the place is filled with deer that will eat out of your hand. There is access to the lake for swimming and a boat ramp with marina and a fishing dock.
