For Big Chief RV Resort: What a great RV park. Right on Lake Buchanan with plenty of lake view sites. When we were here it was very hot and sunny. The pool was clean and refreshing. The sites were pretty level. Great location to wineries, breweries and Fredericksburg. We would come again.

For Big Chief RV Resort: Sites nor roads paved. Parking pads fairly level but grade between sites are not level. Great lake side Rv park, boat dock and boat launch. Staff Texas friendly. Landscaping minimal and few trees. No restaurants close by but several good ones back in town…10 miles. If you need supplies get them on way to park. Ice available. Nice pool. Older park and not top tier RV resort but clean and managed well. Not much to do in close vicinity other than fishing. ATT service 2-3 bars and WIFI available but don’t expect much. They say that their water is drinkable but don’t and use bottled water. This seems strange. In case of heavy rain there are many low water crossings that will close road to the park…suggest calling ahead and check weather forecast. If it rains a lot I suspect park will be a muddy mess so plan accordingly. Rented a pull through that had plenty of room for Rv and toad. Water pressure fairly low at 40#.

For Big Chief RV Resort: Got a last minute reservation for our little ALINER for 4th of July Weekend. Beautiful area. Nice owners. Clean resort. Showers and toilets were cleaned often. Will come back again.

For Big Chief RV Resort: Entire park is full of stickers, very bad for dogs. Scolded for driving too fast, threatened with eviction. Price is too much for what you get. Cell service is good. Site was level and very close to neighbor. Won’t be back.

For Big Chief RV Resort: Friendly staff, very clean. Pool area was relaxing. Would stay here again.

For Big Chief RV Resort: Nice, quiet park. Sites are pretty close together and stickers were a problem for our dog.
