For Richards City Park: Beautiful shaded spaces lots of trees, playground, river. We booked sites in the 30s which are down by the river but those are all slanted despite beautiful scenery. No one else was here. Beware very few signs to tell you where to go but all sites were marked clearly. Online booking worked well.

For Richards City Park: The city of Brady now has online RV reservations for Richards Park. The online reservations button can be fund at the bottom of the Parks listing for Brady. You can reserve by site number and also view the site. However, the sites were not marked when I was there so it was difficult finding the site I reserved. The sites by the wash house have FHU. Other sites have either E/W or just Electric. The pecan and oak trees are mature and add a nice ambience to the campground. The price I paid was $20 per night despite the fee being listed as $25 on the website. My only disappointment was that the wash house wasn't kept clean. There was some debris in the men's shower stalls. Despite this one problem area, I would stay here again.

For Richards City Park: Stayed 10/01/2022-10/6/2022 $20 FHU. 36 FT 5th wheel. Some of the sites will not accept taller rigs due to oak and pecan tree branches to low. I won’t repeat everything posted on June 18, 2020 because it is all accurate. Here are the extras we have found. There are pay envelopes by the bathrooms but no drop box at the park. The sign says to drop payment off at City Hall or you can call the Utilities department and pay over the phone during business hours 8:30-5 M-F. City Hall is only 4-5 minutes away. Drop box is on the second drive through lane and there are envelopes there as well if the park is out of them. If you can go in during business hours, you pay at the utilities window. While you are there, ask for the “Brady City” WI-FI password. Only AT&T cell service in Brady so if you don’t have AT&T then you do want the password at the park. The WI-FI was very good for me. Bathroom and showers are nothing to write home about. Site 17 sewer connection flows a bit up hill. Only a couple of others folks stayed here during our visit. Super friendly town. This park is truly a hidden gem with a couple of issues but I will come back here if I come this way.

For Richards City Park: First, completely disregard the review posted in 2013! There are no long-termers here; in fact the max stay is 10 days. Have no idea what park the poster is referencing! We have a 34 ft motorhome w/tow dolly and had no problems with site #17 length/level (numbering doesn’t correlate with number of sites). (Most sites are long and all are level.) Really nice, large park; actually a hidden gem far back from Hwy 87 on the west side of town. Entrance is a lovely boulevard with old-fashioned street lights. RV spots (FHU) are in the back of the park behind the ball field. There’s a separate bathroom facility; no laundry. Playground equipment close by and many areas to walk your dog. Alternating parking (hookups are in the center for 2 spots) at $20/night with envelopes to place your payment and leave in a pedestal box. Really quiet during our stay with only 1 other traveler and their truck camper. During city festivals, I imagine the park can fill up pretty fast. Very updated electric/water/sewer hookups (for a city park) with numerous electric pedestals throughout the park.

For Richards City Park: Sites are not level. People living here too long look like drug dealers.
