For Kickapoo Cavern State Park: Great campground in a secluded park. Sites are spacious and some have a shelter over the picnic table in case of hot sun or light rain. Bathrooms/shower were some of the best we've seen in terms of cleanliness and water pressure. Tons of bird species and lots of great little hikes. Ranger told us to do Barbado Ridge and it ended at a limestone sinkhole we could climb into. No service w/ Verizon and the WiFi at the office didn't work well. Beckettville is about 25 miles away and has good LTE service as well as gas, groceries, restaurants, etc. They only do cavern tours on Saturdays.

For Kickapoo Cavern State Park: Quiet, well maintained and relaxing darkness. Lots of hiking and plenty of places to star gaze. RV spots are limited, but well hidden and large. Watching the bats exit was exciting to see, along with the porcupine and raccoon who were also watching. We didn't make it to the caverns but we will definitely be back for that.
