For Live Oak Ridge Park: I use ACE campgrounds as often as I can. This campground is one of the best I’ve been to. The sites are large, most shaded, and the ones I’ve used are level. It’s been hot and the 30 amp power has tripped off several times. I like this campground - I do have a complaint that will cost me.
Yesterday the campground was mowed. There were 3-4 cowboys on riding mowers flying all over the place in no apparent plan. They threw a rock against the side of my van giving me a large dent. It took the paint off!
If you’re staying here and the ‘Cowboys’ on riding mowers show up go mobile, avoid them!

For Live Oak Ridge Park: Stayed one night. We prebooked site 24 and got the gate code needed to get into the park, this site is extremely unlevel. We decided to see if another site was vacant and were greeted with a helpful and knowledgeable camp host who drove up knowing the site would be an issue for us. He recommended another site and helped me with the app to make the needed change. We went to site #4 and it is in newer area with level concrete pads. Park is beautiful and spacious with walking trails. Lake levels were really low due to drought but will definitely go here again.

For Live Oak Ridge Park: Nice campground. Fairly quiet. Next to lake but trees and shrubs bock that view at almost all spots. Some shade and covered table/patios. Some spots very close together for group camping but others nicely spaced out. Bathrooms were dirty and not cleaned at all the three days we stayed. And only one of the two bathrooms for entire campground was opened.

For Live Oak Ridge Park: Nice CG with good sized sites and spacing. Could use a few more signs indicating loops and site numbers. Choice of shaded, partial shaded and open sunny sites with sturdy metal tables and covers, rings and grills. Bathrooms kept clean and dumpsters positioned around grounds. Has boat ramp for those bringing water toys.
Has wifi at or near front gate but found it useless. Several sites reminded us of permanent RV sites with amount of cumulated 'stuff'.
