For KOA Journey Amarillo: Site could use some tlc, no real shade in the pull through sites, but the laundry and bathroom very clean. Very friendly , nice quiet place to stay a night or two. Not far from town, if you are sensitive to noise, like trains or planes you find it noisy . Dog park was clean, had water and some shelter

For KOA Journey Amarillo: Cute spots with very clean bathrooms and showers although we didn’t use the showers, more on that later. Called late on the day of after exhausting every campground in Santa Fe (the original destination), which were either not answering their phones on a Sunday or fully booked up. Yes the sites are dust and gravel but with our sprinter it wasn’t an issue. What was an issue was that at 9pm and all through the night and early morning we experienced Dustbowl 2021! The wind was super loud and blowing dirt and sand everywhere so we were too scared to go use the showers. Obviously no fault of the facilities and owners but I guess that’s what to expect in Amarillo during December!

For KOA Journey Amarillo: We stopped at this KOA on the way to California and on the way back to Florida. This place is very clean and quiet. Will stay here again if we’re in the area.

For KOA Journey Amarillo: Stayed one night. Office personnel very nice, very expensive for what you get , space was very tight, everything did work. Overrated probably won’t stay here again

For KOA Journey Amarillo: KOA with very small lots. Everything worked fine but it seemed like they were out to nickel and dime you. Expensive for what you get.

For KOA Journey Amarillo: We stayed here one night after driving 12 hours. A guy greeted us at around 8pm so we didn’t even have to get out of the motorhome, and he showed us to our spot. Place looked clean and hooks up worked great. We would stay here again passing thru.

For KOA Journey Amarillo: Nice place ... staff was welcoming. Really appreciated the escort to our site ... bathrooms clean and accessible... park was week kept and quiet. Definitely will keep this location as a stopping point!
