For Fort Amarillo RV Resort: I give it three stars because it’s not bad but not great. There are a lot of year round campers here. At times there is a lot of activity in the morning with trucks running to warm up and people going to work. Some of these trailers are getting run down. A couple of them look like they are probably leaking. The facilities are as stated but could use some attention. Our site was smallish. The first site they put us in was longer but there was a tree that needed trimming and would have made contact with our slide so they moved us to another site. Stayed here 4 nights in a fifth wheel. Would try another place next time through.

For Fort Amarillo RV Resort: Clean, wide(ish) pull through gravel sites. Nice park area and wide streets. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. $40. Long sites. Did not have to disconnect max cab truck from 37’ 5th wheel. I will stay again.

For Fort Amarillo RV Resort: Absolutely Fantastic! We were just passing through and enjoyed it so much we stayed three glorious days and two nights! Beautiful pet area with grass and shade, lovely gift shop, children’s playground, picnic area with pond and waterfall! Very clean!

For Fort Amarillo RV Resort: Stayed about 10 days here. An older park and it could use some maintenance. Gift shop at front is nice and the staff are always pleasant. Each site is separated from the next by a small fence which is a nice idea. Wifi is okay during the day but at night becomes overloaded pretty quickly. While there are some long-term campers here, we were away from them so had a nice mix of folks coming and going in nice (some REALLY nice) rigs. Laundry is clean and well maintained. There is a central pond for catch/release fishing and a few ducks. Lots of birds. We would stay here again.

For Fort Amarillo RV Resort: The office and gift shop are awesome-and it looks like it was once a really great place, but just about everything needs paint and sprucing up. The shower floors were dirty-mud on the floor. No dressing room in the older shower area. There are boarded up buildings, the hot tub doesn’t exist-pool small but mostly ok. Nice workout room. Seems to have lots of full time folks-which is becoming more and more prevalent. It was quiet-and the limo does pick you up if going to the Big Texan steak house. Was a cheap place to stay for just an overnight. There’s a new place up the road you might check out.

For Fort Amarillo RV Resort: Level gravel sites, each has a small fence. Nice little shop at front of campground. From some sites you can see the freeway, but never heard it. Wifi ok during the day, but impossible at night. Would stay here again.
