For Lost Alaskan RV Park: OK park to stay for few nights to visit Big Bend NP AND be close to amenities IF your site is away from bathhouse. Park catering to tent campers (some
possibly homeless), boon-docking truck campers, seasonal/permanent residents, RVers and cabin guests in same campground with one central bathhouse. Instead of opening bathroom in pool-house, park is OK having campers walk through occupied sites to get to central bathroom due to no walkways. "Premium" sites' location is good toward back away from bathhouse. Other "Premium" "advantages" are concrete walkway to incorrectly placed and sized concrete/brick table on concrete patio. But wooden fence between sites appears more nuisance than a plus. Aforementioned small tables difficult to sit at and get out of and were built at front of sites to avoid getting hit by RVs. During reservation was told were "designated" longer term sites and none available for our month long stay. So had to pay higher weekly rate even though there's obviously longer term sites dispersed throughout park. Friendly staff, well maintained and clean bathrooms and laundry room. Mixed gravel/hard-pan sites fairly level, good width and length. Water pressure good but low flow and spigots poorly placed in box below ground level. Sewer pipe 3 inch instead of 4 inch and opening at ground level. Nice pine trees in pull-thru sites and on perimeter. Paved roads but some corners too tight for big rigs. Dumpsters overflowed between trash pickup. Quiet park. Nearby small airport fairly active but noise level OK and rarely noticed train noise from track behind park.

For Lost Alaskan RV Park: The Texas Ramblin' Roses chapter of RVing Women held a rally here with about 40 women and 35 RVs. From reservations through our departure, the park team took great care of us. Sites were long and level gravel with a table and full hookups. There is a dog park, sparkling clean pool, clean restrooms with showers. There are cabins for those without RVs and a nice tenting area with unique shade covers. There is also a community room with a microwave that worked as a rally room for our group although it would have been nice to have a fridge.

For Lost Alaskan RV Park: Staff was super friendly. Bathhouse and laundry were very nice and clean. Pool was closed for the winter but looked pretty good. Lots are very long mostly pull throughs. Would stay here again.

For Lost Alaskan RV Park: We were on the road and made our online reservations late. Pulling in and finding a campsite after dusk was easy. The bathrooms, showers, and laundry were clean and comfortable
I would recommend this campground.

For Lost Alaskan RV Park: Stayed in space Row A space 14. June 2022. First, let me say none of the RV parks in this area are green and grassy. That said, there are several sites that have lovely, cool lush grass. These are referred to as deluxe sites and are $5 more per night.
The folks here are very nice. The lady who checked us in was kind enough to put us right across the road from the swimming pool. The spaces are large and spacious. Plenty of room for our 40 ft motorhome towing a 2 door Jeep.
The pool is nice, clean and has several lounge chairs. We didn’t use the showers or laundry, but judging from the cleanliness of the park as a whole, I would assume they are clean and well cared for.
We had planned to stay 2 nights but ended up staying 3.
You will enjoy your stay at the Lost Alaskan!
