For Little River Campground: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of Little River Campground. Getting to the campground requires lots of twisty road no matter which way you are coming from. The road in the campground is paved and gravel and is in poor condition. The trees are not well trimmed. The campground check point was open and everyone was friendly. There is a small office and store. Regular size parking area at office. Not sure if seasonal campers are there, though some sites looked ragged . They provide a map to the site. The road signage to our site was OK. Our site was not level. It had a gravel site and dirt patio area with a picnic table. The site had a good view of the river, which is the only redeeming quality. The site was dry. Site was full hook up. Sites are fairly close to each other. Bath house is good. I did not see a laundry room. No swimming pool or hot tub. No rec room. No workout fitness area. The grounds are messy. No cable tv. Over air antenna was poor. Wifi was OK. Verizon cell service OK. So here is the bad: The roads are poor, the sites are very close to each other, they are not level and the grounds are messy. The only sites that are any good at all are what they call their future sites. I would only come back if nothing else was available. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well...

For Little River Campground: Great site. Fall amenities. Wi-Fi even works especially during the weekdays when there’s less campers. Would definitely consider staying again.

For Little River Campground: Our stay was great! The setting is clean quiet, and convenient to the National Park and other attractions. Very clean restrooms and very friendly, helpful staff. We had never been to the area and will certainly go back, and this is the place to stay. We drove by some of the other parks and realized they were so crowded compared to Little River.

For Little River Campground: Didn’t actually stay here but they allow showers for a fee($5) which is great since the campgrounds in nearby GSMNP do not have them. Yay!

For Little River Campground: Stayed 5 nights in a 35' class A. We had a creek side site. Fresh gravel on the sites. Adjoining farm with a walking trail was nice. Management was friendly and helpful. Easy access into park from Townsend. (Do not attempt to enter/exit park with an RV from Wear Valley on Lyon Springs/Wear Cove Gap Rd, very narrow road with weight restricted bridge).

For Little River Campground: First off new name Little River Campground and new owners. Amazing place. They are putting some huge $$ into this place. Each site has stone patio. Some have covered picnic tables. AND bathrooms are amazing!!! You think you are home we the new style tile showers. Pretty pricey ($50+ after taxes and fees) but beautiful campground and right before Smokey mountain park entrance. We'll definitely be back here when we are in the area

For Little River Campground: A jewel of a locally run campground! Clean and well-maintained with friendly staff, the campground was nicely decorated with fall mums, hay bales, etc. The internet wifi was a life saver due to lack of a cell phone signal from AT&T, and the cable tv hookups provided for many, many channels (not just a few basic ones). No grills at the sites, but there was a nice fire ring. We will be back! We camped in a 23 foot Airstream but saw many much-longer RVs.
