For Gateway to the Smokies RV Park and Campground: Stayed 3 nights . We were the only coach in the back in area. All other pull thrus were taken on our last night there. As it turned out we were glad to be in the premium back in. It was quiet even tho most slots were full. Bathrooms were clean. Area was well kept. We came in late but found our spot in the dark without too much trouble . Would stay again

For Gateway to the Smokies RV Park and Campground: Like others have said do not pay attention to old reviews. New management and they spent big bucks upgrading everything. Really nice park and employees and allows packages and mail to be delivered! Good amenities and location is perfect to explore the area. We rode mountain bikes in Knoxville, rafting in North Carolina, rode our motorcycle on the Tail of the Dragon, hiked in the Smokies and walked shops in Gatlinburg and did the Sky Park there.

For Gateway to the Smokies RV Park and Campground: Don’t pay attention to the old reviews. Stayed for two nights and enjoy the campground very much. It was well-kept, easy access to sites. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This campground is off the main road. Great access to national park.

For Gateway to the Smokies RV Park and Campground: Stayed here during 4th of July, 2020. We were in one of the premium sites. We had a concrete pad with built in fire pit. New owners took over a little over a year ago and made this a great campground. Everything was clean and the staff was excellent. Highly recommend this campground.

For Gateway to the Smokies RV Park and Campground: Let me first say that the reviews from 2015 were nothing that we experienced during our stay. I feel like the campground must have changed hands between 2015 and 2020 because everything was very clean and looked newly renovated. The playground was great and looked brand new. So was the basketball court, it looked like it was brand new. There were newly built bathrooms that were super clean. You could tell that they were going through the park putting in new concrete pads that looked really level. We had one of the larger sites along the back which had recently been gravelled and the park roads were recently paved. Someone has been dropping some serious money on that campground. We took the kids to the pool every night, it was always clean and the park hosts clean it every evening. We didn’t see any homesteaders like one review stated, they must have all been kicked out under this new ownership. We will most definitely go back if ever in the area.

For Gateway to the Smokies RV Park and Campground: Poor rating because this is a park of homesteaders .. Spooky. Not somewhere I would recommend.
