For Smoky Bear Campground: We loved our stay in mid November. We were in site #43 pull through and it was perfectly level before I even started my set up. Sites are pretty narrow but very clean. Showers were very clean and close. I will definitely stay here again when in the area.

For Smoky Bear Campground: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of the campground at Smoky Bear. Getting to the campground is all on good roads. The roads in the campground are paved and in good condition. Trees are all trimmed back so they do not hit the motorhome. The campground registration office was open and everyone were friendly. There is a camp store but it is very limited, but they do have ice cream. Firewood is available for $5 bucks. There is a large area for parking while checking in. Our site was 47, a pull thru site with a fire pit and picnic table. Our site was not level. We needed a full set of yellow Lego blocks to level one side. The site was dry. The campground has only a few seasonal folks. The bath house is nice. Laundry basic looking but nice. The recreational center was closed and looked more like a storage unit. There is no restaurant on site, but the campground is close to town. The pool is nice and there is a hot tub. Cable TV service was good, but very limited on channel choice. Wifi was OK, but would go out during heavy use. There is a lot of road noise from Hwy 321.
Our site was long, but very limited room along the sides. The grounds were well maintained and looked nice. There is good spacing between each site, but the space available for use is narrow. Also most of the sites are best for smaller campers, 30 feet or less. Only a few are good for 40 feet or more. I like site 48 a little better. We would come back. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well..

For Smoky Bear Campground: While the spaces are not the biggest we have experienced, the property makes up for that in so many other ways. This is by far the quietest campground we have visited. Just the right amount of activities to keep the kids busy - pool, hot tube, playground, and a super chill cat. The owners are very involved in the property and provided some of the best sightseeing tips. The bath house is amazingly clean - seriously! I think the bathhouse alone is worth a stop here. Close enough to Gatlinburg to see the sights, but far enough away to feel like you are enjoying the Great Smokies and not hanging out in an urban center. Highly recommended.

For Smoky Bear Campground: Super nice campgrounds, very clean and quite.
The staff was great. Only about 10 miles of pleasant, scenic drive into Gatlinburg. I highly recommend this site.

For Smoky Bear Campground: We camped here twice this year first in early June then in mid July. Both times were excellent. First was us and two grandchildren in our travel trailer. The second was a family trip. Daughter’s family with a 9 month and three year old who rented a cabin and our other daughter and a 11 and 15 year old in our trailer. This is an older park but very well maintained. The bath house is the cleanest we have ever seen. They are like that all day. Customer service is the best, We have camped in the Smoky mountains for years and this is our favorite, good pool and hot tub. Klaire has a sheet with her favorite spots in the park it is really good info. The park is smaller so you don’t feel crowded. AT&T cell service was good WIFI internet is a little weak but we go to disconnect for a bit. You can get in and out of the most visited national park without a lot traffic. Just ask them about the scenic bypass. We will be back .

For Smoky Bear Campground: Agree totally with everything CW said... This is the cleanest and nicest RV park we have seen in a wooded area. We were impressed! Our gravel site stayed clean even after a heavy rain (no muddy puddles anywhere)! Owner takes pride in the facility and all staff were very helpful and friendly. Will return if in area. Travel in a motorhome.
