For Nolichucky Gorge Campground: The nicest and most reasonable campground I have ever been in!! The staff is outstanding and everything is so clean!! There is so much to do as the campground is on the river between the mountains. Stay as long as you wish is a fantastic plus!!!! Full hook ups or renting or just electric... it’s all here!

For Nolichucky Gorge Campground: This is not your typical campground. Noli Gorge is a place on its own time. Everyone is laidback and the campground gives off that same vibe. Sitting right on the Nolichucky River, It’s first come first serve wherever you can park it or pitch it, is really up to you. The drive in could be a problem for really large rigs, as the road narrows. Most spots are primitive, some offer a 30 amp plugin for like $5 extra a day. They offer a Snack Bar and restrooms. The staff is helpful and friendly. Facilities are adequate and clean. Adjoining the campground is a rafting company, that rents kayaks and guided group raft tours down the mightiest part of the river. While we were here, they were having a local music festival at the rafting company. We didn’t attend but was close enough to hear. The night was relaxing with the sounds of really good folk music playing during the evening. So plenty to do, or not do, while you stay. It’s totally up to you and your level of motivation.
