For Spring Lake RV Resort: While we have stayed here a few times over the years it is far from a resort. A very nice rv park with new owners. The previous owners were very friendly and personable but the new owners seem like they have better things to do. No pool, no clubhouse for guests, no a/c in laundry room and windows are left open for ventilation and insects. The lake is pretty and full of fish but no swimming allowed. The grounds are also very nice but not kept up like before. We will not return.

For Spring Lake RV Resort: Very nice campground as described below. Most of the Lakeside spots are long and adequately spaced with great view of the lake, but the lots across the road have about 10’ more spacing between campers. No pull through sites but no obstacles for easy backing. Netflix quality wifi and normal cable channels. More than 10 golf courses nearby. Country side is stunning with rolling hills. We found over a dozen mom and pop style restaurants with great food at reasonable prices. Stayed a week in mid August, park was about 70% full during week, busier in weekend, mostly retirees. We plan to return next year.

For Spring Lake RV Resort: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of the campground at Spring Lake. Getting to the campground is all on good roads. The roads in the campground are gravel and in good condition. Trees are all trimmed back so they do not hit the motorhome. The campground registration office was open and everyone were friendly. There is no camp store but the campground is close to town. Firewood is available and free. There is a large area for parking while checking in. Our site was 29, a back in site facing the lake with a fire pit, picnic table and swing. Our site was level. The site was dry. The campground has no seasonal folks. The bath house is OK. Laundry was basic looking but nice. There is a recreational center, but was closed. There is no restaurant on site, but the campground is close to town. There is no pool and no swimming is allowed in the lake. Cable TV service was good. Wifi was good, but it did go out about three times and needed rebooting. Our campsite was peaceful. No road or highway noise.
There are several sites along the lake. All look nice. Our site was large and spacious. We would come back. Here is why this is not a 5 star campground. No pool and no swimming in lake. In 3 weeks, they only mowed once and they did a poor job of cutting the grass near our site. The pond has more weeds and pond muck near our end of the lake. Sites 26, 29, 43 through 47 are all great sites. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well..

For Spring Lake RV Resort: We absolutely loved it here. What a lovely facility. Our host was just as nice as could be. Easy access. Level clean sites. Nice walk around the pond and just a peaceful atmosphere. We are in a 38 foot Class A and we fit easily with our jeep in a pull through. Highly recommend. Lots of good stuff to do nearby and good truck and tire service at the next exit for any issues. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

For Spring Lake RV Resort: This place is absolutely awesome. We are in a 44-foot Class A motor home and are full-timers, so we've had our share of hits and misses at RV parks. This place is excellent. It's big-rig friendly. The sites are gravel, wide and flat. Full hookups for all sites. Each site had a concrete patio pad with a wrought iron table and chairs and/or a two-person swing chair. The pond has a fountain and is fully stocked for catch-and-release fishing. There are a couple cute duck families residing, but thankfully there are no geese! There are sites that back up to the pond and others that do not. There are no RVs that look like they are too settled in (accumulated junk stored around them). It's very clean and very well-maintained. Jeff and Marge (the owners) are helpful, nice and monitor things to maintain the standards. The wifi is better in some spots than others, but this is the nature of wifi. We had excellent coverage. There are two clubhouses and a laundry room. There are restrooms, but they were temporarily closed due to the pandemic. You can have Amazon packages delivered to the office. We were there during all the COVID craziness, so I'm not sure if they normally have dog waste bins on the property, but at the time of our stay there were none. There is no dog park, but everyone does a great job of cleaning up after their pets. The are bunnies, chipmunks, fireflies, honeysuckle… What a great part of the country and a great RV park. We stayed a month and would highly recommend it.

For Spring Lake RV Resort: We stayed here in early June because it was convenient to our route east to NC. Loved it, what a gem! Cool temps, level sites, wonderful views. If you want a pool and planned activities, this is the wrong place. If you want peace and quiet, great views, level spacious sites, and great hosts, you can't beat it! We just left after 4 more days, this time planned, on the way back to AZ.
