For Little Oak Campground: Great National Forest park! It’s a crazy drive in with a very narrow road, steep climbs, and switch backs. Although the sites are plenty big enough I expect the rig limit is because of the roads into the campground. I have a 29’ rig and had a few close calls with cars fly through the switch backs. We came on a Sunday and self registered. Just a tip many people come for the day and take up open sites. If you don’t see a tent then you may have the right to ask them to move. This is a no day use campground. If you can handle the drive in then this is an awesome campground with most sites having lake side views. AT&T had a great signal all day. Dry camping only.

For Little Oak Campground: Situated on beautiful emerald green lake Holston this NF campground is busy on the weekends but quiet during the week. Any size rig can be accomodated but for some reason the web site says 30' max. Facilities are modern and we'll kept. Camp host seem to serve no purpose that I could detect. Almost every site is lakefront with a trail going around the perimeter. Only downsides are proximity, 26 or so miles just to get to any services and road is non stop switchbacks and when i say busy on the weekends I mean hundreds of mostly pontoon boats and jet skis going full throttle all day long. Huge marinas all over this lake. Worth a visit and at just $6 with pass a good bargain for lakefront camping.
