For Rocky Top Campground: We LOVE this campground and have been stopping here on our way up north for years. Debbie & Gary are great hosts and are very accommodating! It is super quiet, clean and secluded. Some of the roads are pretty steep for walking but that adds a challenging dimension to your fitness!

For Rocky Top Campground: Just ok by way of nearby activities. We like trails and biking and none of that is accessible from here. The sites are level, as previous reviews said. You’re right up on your neighbor with only four between each site. The bathhouse is clean and the family is nice. It’s quiet and there are more than a few live ins. For $40 it’s a bit steep with no added amenities

For Rocky Top Campground: Stayed here one night while traveling thru. Campground is set on a hillside but all the sites are terraced. We got a pull thru site and were perfectly level. I didn't have to unhitch so we could get an early start in the morning. Family running the place were very nice and helpful with setup. Store was small and sparse but they did have what we were looking for, Ice Cream!

For Rocky Top Campground: Small, friendly, convenient campground. Quite hilly, steep, so not great for walking but close to shopping, races, music venues. Pull-thru sites are quite small, but level, and with good access for big rigs. Very close to I-81 but no highway noise at all!

For Rocky Top Campground: A very pleasant campground, with lots of trees. Close to the highway but no highway noise. Grounds are immaculate, restroom is one of the cleanest I have ever seen, and sites are level. WiFi signal is strong. Open with water all year. A great place to stop if you are heading south for the winter on I-81.

For Rocky Top Campground: Good clean place. We come to Johnson City for baseball tournaments every year pulling a 37' fifth wheel. There was plenty of room to get in and out. There really isn't enough room at the local state park. Some of the sites are a little close. The owners are great and very helpful. We will be back.
