For Main - Bear Butte State Park: Camped here one night, Sat Oct 8, 2022; no reservations. About half of the dozen or so sites were occupied; fairly quiet. Pit toilet was clean and the water hydrant with hose connection was still turned on. Pretty little spot just outside the Black Hills with hiking and water activities available.

For Main - Bear Butte State Park: I agree with the other reviews. There is a site with electric and water, if you can get it. It was a host site, but now anyone can use it. It is a few dollars more. The vault toilet was the cleanest I have seen. Bear Butte is across the road. There is a hiking trail to the top with outstanding views. There is also a cultural center there, but it was closed due to Covid. It is a relaxing campground near Sturgis. However, the first night we did have a tornado warning, lighting and hail.

For Main - Bear Butte State Park: Great location, no hookups but $11.67 a night. Pretty lake to walk along, windy grass. Just a few miles from Sturgis so it will be busy in the first half of August.

Rockn'o Ranch
For Main - Bear Butte State Park: Great hideaway. Dispersed camping but we are a fully contained 45' motorhome with solar. Sites are level, gravel and there's a beautiful lake. Camp-host is very friendly and accommodating. Stayed here 4 nights.
