For Camp Dakotah: I'm told Marsha has had her GRANDSON to expand all spaces two x2 camp spaces. Cody the Master of Yard sees to it and has supplied metal fire pits. I enjoy the horses and of course the double horseshoe pit n gardens at Central Park in the middle of all drives. SASGHSCH#113

For Camp Dakotah: 26' travel trailer. Space 18 is pull thru. We have family in town and stayed for 2 days in October. Staff are friendly. We got to pick our own spot. $23 cash or check per day. Level gravel spaces are narrow. Would be tight in peak season. Nice grassy perimeter for pups. Centrally located restrooms and laundry. Laundry on honor system, $2 wash. 3 washers and one dryer. Clothes line available. Restooms and showers older but clean. Hot water leak today. Husband had lukewarm shower. Freezing temp last night. Water did not work during night. Don't know if lines froze or it was shut off for safety. Fine by 9:00 am. Good, unsecure wifi. No cable. Very picturesque setting. Would stay again. Our family tell us, the owners are improving the camp continuously. Wish I could add photos. Most of the images are not here.

For Camp Dakotah: Wish we had this APP to find any other campground that this one when we were looking for a place to overnight....
OMG don't believe the ads that there is 17 feet between sites..... We had our awning out and NO WAY could the occupant of the next site get out their door... Thank goodness they were not there. I could sit at our dinette and read the laptop screen from the unit on the other side of us. Goodness knows what we would have heard or smelled if they had windows open! The campground is in need of some work, the grounds are tidy and evidence that someone is making attempts to beautify the place with annuals and flower gardens, but.... the showers need some work. Thou they were clean. The WiFi was the best we had in our 30 days on the road, good thing as there was no cable.... But then again there were only four units in, so there was little competition for the WiFi. The owners were nice enough and chatty, a bit too chatty but that is on me, I don't much care to share our life story, some do... There had the horses for the hay rides penned up directly to the rear of us, but that was no biggy, I like horses, don't mind a little horse sh-t, now and again... All and all, the place is starting to look run down, a for sale sign was in a utility trailer and the web site shows same owners for some time, so I guess that tells a story in itself. The campground was easy to get on and off the Interstate, I29, and the town was tidy and had stores and a Dairy Queen! The only good site was apparently being kept for a bus which turned out to be a 19 foot trailer... So.... not sure why we at 30+ were packed into the spot we were... But there ya go. Would not stay again.
