For Horsethief Lake Campground: The U.S.Forest Service has contracted out the management of the campground to F.R.M.. A camp site costs $24/night and pets are an additional $2/pet/night. The contractor host has an overly developed and personalized campsite. The contractor host referred to the campground as "their" campground; not the U.S. Forest Service. I will avoid this campground - and any other that is contracted - in the future.
