For Custers Gulch RV Park and Campground: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of Custer's Gulch Campground. Getting to the campground was easy. The road in the campground is gravel and in good condition. The trees are all well trimmed. The campground office was open and everyone was friendly. No camp store available. There is a large parking area near the office. There are no seasonal campers. They provide a map and the road signage to our site was good. Sites have fire pits. Our site was a back in site with a gravel drive and grass patio area, with a picnic table. The site had a nice view of a forest hill side. Our site was level. The site was dry. Site was full hookup. Did not see the bath house but they have one. There was a small laundry. No swimming pool or hot tub. They have no rec room. No workout fitness room. The grounds look very nice and well kept. No cable tv. No over air antenna. Wifi was good. Verizon cell service OK. So here is the bad: Nothing really. I would come back. Our site was 55, but any of the sites between 46 to 57 are good. We also liked site #90 and 89. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well...

For Custers Gulch RV Park and Campground: Great campground. Staff was nice, bathhouse was clean, near Town of Custer and Custer State Park (maybe the best state park we have seen anywhere in the country), near the national parks and monuments, nice biking trails. Camp sites are level, paved and nicely spread out.

For Custers Gulch RV Park and Campground: Absolutely loved our stay here in Aug 2020 for Sturgis Rally. Our 5th wheel is 46ft and we had plenty of room including our truck and 2 Harleys. Quiet, beautifully maintained and lots places to walk our two small dogs. Custer has a fantastic grocery store (sushi was delicious) and many restaurants to enjoy. Highly recommend taking the private tour of Crazy Horse. Expensive but goes to a good cause and it was the highlight of our 2 month RV trip to S. Dakota from California.

For Custers Gulch RV Park and Campground: This park is so well laid out. It is kept very neat. Loved it. The other thing is that it is so convenient to all we wanted to do: Wind Cave, Jewel Cave, Custer State Park, and Mt Rushmore. Highly recommend it.

For Custers Gulch RV Park and Campground: Super nice location with full hookups. We had a nice level, gravel pull through site. Big spaces Exceptional WiFi reception. They have done that right unlike so many parks we’ve experienced. Restrooms were ok although we had our own so only stopped in to check them out.

For Custers Gulch RV Park and Campground: Stayed 2 weeks. Love this park. Clean, pretty , quiet. Right at entrance to park. Town of Custer is cute and has great restaurants. Sites at park are large. Nicely manicured. Will return 2019 for 2 weeks. Only negatives: water was not real clear but is not harmful. They had a lot of rain this year and some sediment. Park is 1 1/2 hrs from Sturgis. But I think the nicest park so worth the drive.

For Custers Gulch RV Park and Campground: My family of 5 stayed at Custer’s Gulch during our Black Hills portion of our cross country vacation. We stayed for 5 nights. The location was great, centrally located for everything we wanted to do. The campground is clean, everything kept up well. Staff was friendly. The sites are large, with picnic tables & fire rings. We had 3 kids ages 7, 8, & 12 with us. They enjoyed the open spaces to play & the loops to ride their bikes. Our only complaint is the water was a bit brown. No big deal as we carry our own cooking & drinking water with us anyway. I would highly recommend this RV Park to anyone staying in the area.
