For Tailrace Left: Beautiful park! Lots were large and level. Not too close to shopping, but right on Francis Case Lake (with boat launch). It was roughly 20 minutes off the interstate coming from the west. Only electric, no water or sewer, but water was very accessible, and dump station was well positioned at the exit. Bath houses were crude, but clean. Shower drain system was odd. Concrete picnic tables with wind barriers, and fire pits. Park had pavilions, and play area with swing sets, disk golf and corn hole. I would stay here again.

For Tailrace Left: We stayed for just one night. Friendly staff. Level site, nice view of the River. There are lots of fishermen. Did not use the shower or bathrooms.

For Tailrace Left: As expected with the army corps a very well designed well laid out extremely level and very well spaced out RV park… The check-in host was very very friendly answered any questions I had and put us in a spot right on the water… they have a great design instead of having RVs on top of each other do utilize double spots in opposite directions with plenty plenty of room… it’s 20 minutes off the highway in the middle of nowhere so it’s quiet extremely spacious and well worth the drive…

For Tailrace Left: Stayed two nights with 50 amp electric, no water, in a pull-thru site. Only four stars because the ingress and egress are convoluted to say the least. The sites are spacious and space well apart. Nice! Would return if it wasn’t so far out of the way. Hosts are friendly and accommodating. Thank you!

For Tailrace Left: I was quite surprised at the condition of this campground. We stay in AC camps whenever possible because they are so clean and well maintained. This was an exception. To begin, when we checked in, we didn't get a map for the camp and so did not see the water taps until we were at our sites. The camp site itself was next to a trash bin ( not a bad thing) but in spite of that, the fire ring had burned plastic bottles and cans in it. There was some goopy stuff on the table that should have been cleaned off but wasn't and lots of small litter of plastic, cigarettes butts and food garbage. The area behind our site looked like a garbage dump. There were cans and food garbage all along the area.
The site was level, well drained and slightly protected from the wind.

RickBinSD
For Tailrace Left: Very well maintained campground. Roads and sites are paved and fairly level. Shade trees and close to lake. Friendly staff and not really crowded at all. Clean restrooms and showers. Bring your provisions, not much available closer than Chamberlain. RV dump close to campground and water hydrants scattered throughout the campground. $18 dollars a night (2021 season).
Hwy 47 north of Reliance was pretty rough (2021 season) so be prepared to drive slow from I-90, about 17 miles. The road from Chamberlain is pretty good.

Red Gypsy
For Tailrace Left: Stopping by for one night, don’t have to unhook. Lots of pull thrus and nice paved level sites. Make sure bring in all supplies, nearby reservation and closest supplies closed due to Covid. It is clean, quiet and not crowded at all. Came in at 6 pm and plenty of sites open.
