For Big Sioux Recreation Area: Great little campground with spacious spots. Easy stop off of I-90 on our way to Badlands. Very friendly staff with a “what can we do for you†attitude.

For Big Sioux Recreation Area: Beautiful park with spacious, wooded sites. Bathrooms (pit toilets) are clean. Cell service is okay. Very relaxing and beautiful...

For Big Sioux Recreation Area: This is a Recreation Area, as opposed to a Park. So there's lots of activities, lots of folks on the weekends, and lots of noise from those folks. That said, the sites are spacious, with lots of trees and grass, and feel at least partially private. There are electric hookups and cabins in the campground. There is only one restroom with flush toilets and showers and site 21 is about as far away from it as one can get. There are a few water spigots and vault toilets in the campground. It was hot and humid in June. We stayed here in a campervan.

For Big Sioux Recreation Area: Nice park. Too bad about the noisy speedway across the main street! Clean restrooms & showers. Close to fabulous Falls Park & shopping if you'd like to stock up!
