For Pirateland Family Campground: We used to come here 10 or so years ago when kids were growing up….it was pretty decent back then…NOW,it’s overpriced, fun down, will let any rv in no matter the condition……not coming back…white trashy campground!

For Pirateland Family Campground: Epicbusdave nailed it! This place is a nickel and dime nightmare. Continuous golf cart (only their rentals are allowed) traffic blaring loud music until 11 pm! Poor drainage when it rains. Cable doesn’t work. Vehicles parked parallel to roads making getting on your site for larger rigs a challenge. I give it 1 star for crowded beach access and full hookup even though the threads on the sewer connection that is 8†above the ground are stripped! Marshalling jerk on arrival was unhelpful and very rude only provided direction to registration parking. No assistance finding your 1 of 800+ sites.
I too came here as a kid and young adult. Won’t ever return!

For Pirateland Family Campground: I would give it negative stars if I could. This was the camp ground my parents would take me to as a kid. I brought my kids here and I’m sorry I did. They claim to be a family campground but every night till 11 pm they have a golf cart “paradeâ€, where the drunks cruise in their golf cart with music blasting. People setting off fire work on the beach and even though they have signs all over the place says no fire works security wound do anything about it. I will never be back.

For Pirateland Family Campground: Very cramped, packed in like sardines. Hookups on the opposite side of trailer with the exception of sewer connection. The flyer states no open burning campfires. Not true, there everywhere. Thumping load music everywhere. When we arrived we had a burned out 30amp plug. Awning overhangs a structure covering the picnic table and just a few inches clearance for my slide out. Would not recommend this campground.

For Pirateland Family Campground: Great campground Not only for families , stayed two Nights, to be honest because there was no free site on the state park next to this cg, what a luck!
Pros:
- close to the beach
- modern and clean restrooms
- cool poolarea with different sites
- cool golf carts 50-60$ / day ( but comes in handy because the cg is huge)
- only 55 $ ( may 19) / night
- Many different activities for children
Cons:
- Quite full, Every free Space is used as a site so expect to be close to your neighbour

For Pirateland Family Campground: Great spot. We were there during the off season so it wasn't packed. Internet and TV worked. Indoor heated pool and jacuzzi. Right next to the beach. Would stay here again.
