For KOA Holiday Mt Pleasant: This place is very expensive, so I’m only giving it two stars on value, but four stars on quality, and three stars overall. The spaces are tight but we were able to get our 36 foot fifth wheel in and out without a problem. Most sites have shade, and the campground lake is pretty and can make for a nice sunset. The showers need some updating but are passable, and the pool is small but refreshing on a hot day. The staff is helpful and friendly. The proximity to Charleston is pretty good, about a 20 minute drive.

For KOA Holiday Mt Pleasant: This campground is extremely nice, but the employees are what sets it apart. We had an awesome experience with everyone we met, but one gentleman Roy was special. He was so friendly and helpful and we enjoyed him so much. He took time with our 3 boys telling them fish stories etc. He is a HUGE asset to this campground.
The grounds are well maintained and the lake is beautiful. Camp k9 is huge. Such a beautiful area to visit and site see as well.

For KOA Holiday Mt Pleasant: 4 Stars for Allstays review: We stayed 3 nights. Very nice overall. The setting was outstanding (old Plantation with trees and lake) and quiet area. The sites were nice and wide with grass buffers between sites. Our gravel site was level and well maintained with good gravel coverage. They offered individual private bathhouses that were nice and kept very clean. The office had a well stocked store and the staff was great and very helpful. The only opportunity for this RV resort would be to expand their laundry facility as they could use a few more washers and dryers for the size of this park.

For KOA Holiday Mt Pleasant: So I haven't been a big fan of KOA campgrounds - I have found them to have spaces that are way too close together - but this one is an exception. We really enjoyed our stay here. The spaces were quite large and very level. Love the garbage pickup service - there was always a staff member cruising the campground, so our garbage was picked up almost immediately. There is a beautiful lake, with a great walking trail. We didn't take advantage of the pool, cornhole, or horseshoes, but these were all available, as were several activities (tie dying, hay rides, etc). The campground was quiet, with several long term residents.
We were in site 42, and while it was nice because it was in the back of the park with little traffic, it was a tough angle in the afternoon as the sun beats down on this spot and it was quite hot. Our friends were in site 37 and it was much shadier. We sent the kids up to the bathhouse to shower and they said it was adequate but nothing special. Overall, this campground redeemed my opinion of KOA campgrounds. Would return.

For KOA Holiday Mt Pleasant: Very nice facility. I stayed here in December. They had a dome over the swimming pool which allowed us to swim in a heated pool even though it was very cold outside. The park is right on a lake with beautiful views. I would highly recommend this park. Plenty of things for my nine and ten year olds. I will stay here again.
