For KOA Holiday Charleston: Waaaaay too many permanent long term residents. Sadly, this KOA is but a spill over from the Trailer Park next door. Spaces are super small. Unkept, loud airport nearby, trains, and traffic. Also bright high powered lights from a nearby business. Staff was friendly and professional.

For KOA Holiday Charleston: This koa is rough, looks to be longterm stay sites. They need to trim bushes , replace tables and cleanup. Not to the standards expected in my opinion. Moved to koa in Mt. Pleasant, more expensive but worth!

For KOA Holiday Charleston: Read tons of reviews and they are getting better! My 1st KOA and the Charleston KOA did not disappoint. I read several bad reviews and the staff said they were working on those. We had a great large site and they have a nice pool, playground and game room with tons of personal touches. Staff was super helpful. I wish had more time to do all the activities here. I would recommend again!
I stayed in B1 and that spot was huge. Our first spot was probably the smallest spot we ever had but they let me move.
Ps there is a cop posted up on the weekends. I asked him what’s up and he said they were looking for people who kept coming in to stay and not paying. He also mentioned he is there every weekend. I guess a good deterrent to keep the ones who don’t belong out.

For KOA Holiday Charleston: Love it! ‘Gloomy’? Try well shaded. Clean, level and large sites. Great staff. As close to Charleston as the Mount Pleasant KOA. Near several North Charleston breweries, and close to two Jo Ann Fabric stores.
I lived in the flight path of Dulles Airport for 28 years, this place isn’t even close as far as noise.

For KOA Holiday Charleston: I’ve been to many KOAs and this by far the worst. I feel like KOA is letting anyone run these things, prices of wood covering the septic hook ups, left over junk from the full timers, untrimmed trees and shrubs, WiFi that is the most irritating I have ever seen. I’m gonna try to to complain to KAO corporate if there is one and unfortunately I just renewed my membership.

For KOA Holiday Charleston: 1 positive star for staff being very friendly, and another positive star for the park beauty/trees. However, the park is located off a major road that has lots of traffic noise day and night. The park is also under the airport flight path. The park is located next to a mobile home park that isn’t very nice. Pull through sites are very close together. Plumbing drain pipes run right next to your neighbor. Just not the outdoor feel I’m looking for. Will not return.

For KOA Holiday Charleston: A good KOA facility. Staff was friendly and helpful. Easy access to Charleston activities from the campground. We were in a site towards the back of the campground which had a lot of tree cover and gave the campsite a gloomy appearance. I would have no problem returning to this KOA, just a different site
