For Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort and Marina: Should have listened to the reviews.
When we arrive tge site was very nice. We never used the amenities because we had to leave. 1 night in and I have to leave to drive back to ca as my mom passed away suddenly. Reached out and only got a snid reply that was generic. Privately owned sites? Call the owner and let them make the call.
Also on your receipt after they took full payment in the phone it says 50% due.
It’s too bad cause this looked like a decent place ( pricey) and close to all the fun in Hilton Head but they just don’t care!

For Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort and Marina: What a terrible experience! I called today to push my reservation by a couple of weeks due to an emergency I have here at home. I’m going on a 16 day trip with my son for the summer. The very rude person who answered the phone told me she would not be able to push the reservation because it is against the policy. I’d like to book the exact site in a couple of weeks. No understanding, no empathy. She refused to call the owner to see if that was possible. I will never stay here! So sad! I wish the owners had more say so because I bet they would understand.

For Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort and Marina: It is truly a shame what is happening at my beloved RV resort at which I have owned a waterfront lot for over a dozen years. It was purchased as a place that I could bring my 36 foot Class A when I wanted a pleasant getaway at premier Hilton Head campground and which would help me cover my mortgage, HOA fees, taxes, insurance, utilities and maintenance expenses with rentals when I was not there. Unfortunately we are saddled with a rental management company that we have absolutely no control over due to a poorly thought out covenants policy when the resort was first established This allows that lcompany control over all aspects of the rental parameters including the rental rates, of which they get half of the gross amount while we, the owners have to deal with all of its costs. A recent (two years now) dispute between the HOA and the rental company has turned big time legal with the rental company doing all it can to break the back of the HOA with apparently no thought to its own financial self interest. Thus all of the new restrictions and equipment limitations, none of which we, the lot owners approve of. Until this is ultimately settled by the courts things will not get much better for the general public, which is the lifeblood of any RV resort. For this I apologize. It is still a wonderful place to stay at when visiting this very special coastal Island, with all of its amenities for RVing families. I certainly enjoy my stays with my, now, much smaller 25 foot Class C

For Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort and Marina: After a difficult booking process (terrible website), I finally booked (and got written confirmation) for my upcoming stay. I booked several weeks in advance, and am coming from out of state. Today, they called me and said they were canceling my reservation because the owner of the space has decided they are coming. With one week to go, there is nowhere else available; everything is booked solid for spring break! Where am I supposed to go now? I guess I'll be spending my vacation in the Cracker Barrel parking lot, boondocking. This is not how I wanted to spend my vacation! Horrible business practice. DO NOT SUPPORT this place. That is NOT cool!
** I have stayed at over 25 RV parks and campgrounds along the coast of Florida in the last three months. Check out my other reviews!**

For Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort and Marina: Shame on HHH. With the “no trailers with slides†rule, you’re dead to me. They wish that they were as nice as the Hilton Head Motorcoach resort, but they’re not even in the same league.
Hilton Head snobbery at its best.

For Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort and Marina: This is a lovely campground, super clean and we would definitely go back. 2 pools, a restaurant that is said to be great, lots of nearby HHI amenities.
We were there for a weekend in early November so it was only 30%+ capacity. We arrived after hours and our paperwork was waiting for us. We picked a site, set up and officially checked in when the office opened at 9 am. The staff we met was very helpful and pleasant (a guy). Why 4 out of 5? 1) The cost. There are hotel rooms on Hilton Head that are less expensive (at least in November). 2) We were originally supposed to go here in September for my 50th birthday but blew our transmission and broke down enroute; I called to cancel and they did refund our stay as we were stranded roadside waiting for AAA; however, the staff member (a female) that answered our call in September was rude and then hung up on me. Will definitely visit when budget allows and hope that staff is more consistently pleasant.

For Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort and Marina: We used to enjoy this resort but have heard that they don’t allow anything with slides EXCEPT motorhomes. They also don’t allow anything over 35 ft. In travel trailer or fifth wheel. They already have a motor coach resort on the island. Good luck with that. Very disappointed. We were thinking about purchasing a lot at one time but with those rules we will not consider that anymore.
