For Cheraw State Park: Wow. What a great small peaceful campground among the tall long leaf pines with beautiful lake views and good spacing between the sites. We especially enjoyed the boardwalk hike and the star gazing. We had 3 bars Verizon LTE.

For Cheraw State Park: March 2020. We spent 4 nights and loved it. Spots are not very level but many have great views of Juniper Lake. the spots are pretty roomy with water and electric. Bathhouse is clean and water is hot. The Cheraw State Park Golf Course is awesome and very reasonably priced. Would definitely go back!

For Cheraw State Park: Great camping spot. Very nice and helpful staff. Have to check in at park office which is located at the main entrance, not the entrance to the camp grounds. Is very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful lake, perfect for canoeing or kayaking. Stayed at site 16 which is back in end site. Fit my 35ft Class A great. Sites are crushed rock and not too level, so I recommend leveling blocks. 30amp, and fresh water hook ups. No 50amp or sewer connections, however there is an easily accessible dump station. Would definitely stay there again.

For Cheraw State Park: pulled in late one night in a search for a spot to sleep. Woke up to a beautiful park! The host was pleasant and checked us in that morning. Restrooms were warm and clean. Unfortunately, the weather was windy and cool and we had to roll out, so we did not get to enjoy the park. Worth returning with kayaks! :-)

For Cheraw State Park: Beautiful small lakeside campground where all sites are either on the lake or have a view of the lake. Roads and sites are crushed gravel. Sites are niceley spaced apart but many of actual site pads are on the small side. Bathhouse was heated and very clean. To checkin, use the main park entrance off Route 52 and follow signs to the Park Office. To get to the campground after checkin - exit back onto Route 52 and proceed south a short distance to the campground entrance.
