For Ben Franklin RV Park: Mostly permanent residents. If you need a cheap site for a night this is for you. No amenities. Short term sites have no sewer. Internet was too poor to do email. No office, just an empty building with a mail slot you are supposed to put you payment through and find your site on your own. Needed mowing and trash picked up.

For Ben Franklin RV Park: The site was pretty level and met our needs for the eight days we stayed while doing some family issues for a member who had a stroke and had to go into assisted living. Needed a sewer extension since the inlet was way in the back of the site. Had to extend our stay twice and was done quickly by texting the owner.

For Ben Franklin RV Park: Not really Big Rig friendly as the pull through sites are close enough to touch your neighbor & not level. They don’t have full hookups in the short term spots & no dump on site. The meeting room was used for a wedding on Saturday night. Party ended before midnight. Could be a food stop if they keep fixing it Up. Bathrooms are beautiful. Location excellent so we may stay again.

For Ben Franklin RV Park: This campground is just adorable. There are about three older trailers there that I believe were “grandfathered “ in, but the rest of the place is quaint and lovely. This applies equally to the owners. They are so helpful, friendly and respectful. Not a lot of “amenities,†but as most campers without kids, we rarely partake of them anyway, and I don’t like paying for things I don’t need nor use. Laundry and shower facilities were spotless. I was so happy to see the large folding table in the laundry room...that’s a rare find. Two other major highlights of this campground: LOCATION! If you’re looking to tour York, Lancaster, Harrisburg and Elizabethtown and much more, this is a great jumping off place! And having spent nearly an entire day on the phone trying to find a spot that was under $80/night in the area, I can assure you the PRICE of this campground is utterly too low. We paid $35/nite. Just to comment on some of the negative reviews: traffic noise: Never understand why people complain about that. You pulled off the freeway and into the campground. Yep it’s there. But it’s also easy access which is why you chose it. I never heard it while I was sleeping. Odor: Didn’t smell it. Having stayed at Ben Franklin for 3 nights, I’m relatively astonished at some of the reviews here that certainly don’t correctly reflect this campground. They have big plans for this place, and they are well on their way! Highly recommend!

For Ben Franklin RV Park: Nice enough for an overnight, just off highway so road noise, we covered up noise by running fan. Very nice, clean, up to date bathroom showers. Mostly long term transients. There in mid February so muddy but that is just the way it is in the northeast. Would use again for an overnite. Community room is absolutely top dog, water feature not on, again it is Feb..

For Ben Franklin RV Park: Very nice campground, new Hugh community room, new showers and laundry . Some spaces a little tight
Convenient to Rt30, but very quiet. Owners very sweet young couple, working hard to make improvements.
