For Pocono Vacation Park: We have been seasonal campers here since 2008. We would not be entering out 10th year here if it was not nice. There are some "extended stay" people that live there year round. There are many seasonal campers some that will be there the whole season. As a result these people have added decks, then added roofs, then added walls to the decks, essentially immobilizing their trailers or motorhomes. When they get tired of it they sell the whole deal to someone else. Another way of looking at this is you know your neighbors, year after year.
We are an exception. We have not immobilized our motorhome and do take it out from time to time. What this place did for us was give us a place to keep our rig and it is also a place to use our rig. The season is paid once a year by the end of September to get the best pricing. There is a storage fee for the off season months, but the rig stays in the campsite. When I add the season fee to the storage fee and divide by 12 for a monthly charge it is less than $250/month. If I was to store it at a storage facility near home it would be $300/month and we would not be able to use it there.
We consider the owners and staff friends.
Between Memorial Day and Labor Day there is usually a live band or DJ Saturday nights. There are activities for the kids.

For Pocono Vacation Park: The reason we picked this campground was based on the advertisement we found online and the AllStays App where someone gave it a bogus 4 star review. Our expectation was that this would be 300 RV only leveled spot campground, what we found could only be described as a year round trailer park, not an RV only campground.
They didn't even offer us a map, just a handwritten copy of cable channel listing.
Avoid this place. It should just embrace being a trailer park and stop advertising as a 300 Spot Campground, they are just taking peoples money. It was the first time in 4 years, other than a 1 AM NY rest area stop, that I felt even remotely concerned about my families safety.
