For Riverside Campground: This campground is closest to Williamsport which is why we selected it. The owners are doing a good job renovating the restaurant, bar, and office. The campground could use a little work. We stayed at site 19 which has the most room along with the two adjacent pull thru sites. The site was level and mostly grassy but closer together than we prefer. There is community park next door which was perfect for walking our dogs. The campground was quiet despite the many year round and seasonal residents. It would be a muddy mess when it rains though. All in all ok campground but bit overpriced.

For Riverside Campground: Nice campground in a very small town. Sites are gravel, level, some full hookup. Campground, bar, restaurant, laundromat all within Riverside complex. Adjacent city park is kid friendly and safe. Riverside seems to be local hangout for live music on Friday and Saturday night from 7-10. Either go sit at outdoor patio / deck or enjoy music from your site! Food and drinks were good and reasonably priced. New owners as of last year are doing a great job welcoming you and fixing / maintaining the property. We stayed in a pull through site near the office, so it was a little disruptive with cars and motorcycles coming and going to bar and restaurant. Next time would opt to stay in another section. We travel in a 38’ motorhome with towed.

For Riverside Campground: September 2018. Riverside Campground, Montgomery, PA.
Clean new electric/water/sewer/cable TV hook-ups at all sites.
The atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for in a 3 or 4 day stay-over. The adjacent Riverside lounge & restaurant was perfect! The lounge/bar/restaurant alone will have me making the 5 hour trip back again very soon! Riverside is located a short drive from Gettysburg, PA. My wife & I went into town and there was plenty to do and see. Riverside Campground goes on my top 5 camping experiences list!
Pool looked nice but was closed, (end of the season). Bath house & latrine looked fairly new and uncluttered but could use a pressure washing, felt open and drafty, lacked privacy. Riverside is NOT a kiddy park, (although it is certainly kid-safe and very friendly). The laundry room was big and full of new machines. The food at the restaurant was very good. The on-site bar/tavern and staff were great too.
We camped at Riverside Campground in a Truck Camper but there were all size rigs there from tiny to massive. Overall outstanding!

We stayed for one night on our way home. The campground is located on the Susquehanna River and we had site #3. It was a nice site but we had to parallel park our camper, which was a first for us. It appears that the place is pretty much set up for seasonal campers and that's why we figured the bathrooms were in such rough shape. There is only one bathroom building on site and it doubles as a change room for the pool. There was no paper towel or hand soap in the men's loo and the ladies was not much better.
There is also a busy tavern located at the check in gate that caters to the locals and numerous bikers. That being said, our site was dead quiet by 10:00 and we had a good night sleep. Would we stay again? Likely not - the bathrooms trashed the visit.
