For Gettysburg Campground: Disclaimer: This opinion is based on my personal experience, some people actually enjoy camping like this .... not me.
Silly close sites, and my neighbor seems to be content making my site theirs as well. No matter where you set up, I would feel like I parked my rig in downtown Philly. There is NO privacy and no matter where you are you see at least three campers no more than 40 feet from you. Tonight we are blessed with a trailer DJ being towed through and the music is blasting. This place is literally like a circus. I will NEVER camp here again.
Pros: Electric is stable with most people running AC, water pressure is good, and site hook ups are in good shape and easy to get to.

For Gettysburg Campground: If you like flat shaded sites, a friendly staff, a great new playground, and close to the battlefield, then this is the place for you. Large rig friendly and always clean, after staying at numerous other campgrounds in the area over the years, this is now the only one we come back to year after year. Always a good time.

For Gettysburg Campground: Great campground. The owner and his staff were helpful and friendly. Everything was clean. Nice river sites. Will stay here again if we are in the area.

For Gettysburg Campground: Clean, friendly, helpful, level sites! What else could you ask for? The owner lives on site and he and his staff are awesome! The play area is fantastic for kids, and the bath houses are clean! All around very nice place to stay. Been here twice and have two more visits planned.

For Gettysburg Campground: Very nice place. The staff was helpful and positive. If someone didn’t have an answer to a question they found out from another staffer. They went out of their way. We were in a motorcoach and found it easy to back into our site. It looked as thought all sites were level. Very close to the battlegrounds. There were traffic sounds but they weren’t so loud as to bother us. Would stay here again.

For Gettysburg Campground: Living in the area, I have always been a little apprehensive about this campground which sits right on 116. We stayed here for our “maiden†voyage in our new camper to get out all the bugs. First off, the staff is absolutely fantastic. Friendly, informative, helpful and yet attentive to keeping a clean, safe environment. The campground was quiet and tranquil, especially along the creek. Activities were well-planned and the amenities all there to make this a fantastic place to not only start our RV journey, but return in the near future when we just want to get away. Truly a gem of a place that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Gettysburg area.

For Gettysburg Campground: This is our go to campground. We've been here twice and love it. Clean and accommodating. We are members to another campground in the area but this one is pristine and favor staying here. Their little cafe has good food and a lovely chef......
