For Sills Campgrounds: I tried calling 3 or 4 times then emailed additional 3x finally late afternoon I got young woman who obviously had bad day she was rude to me and said when u make up yr mind call back then said she had to go. Read terms loss deposit if u do not show up well our transport driver got stuck on road and we had to cancel. So we were stuck at local hotel and we physically went to camp and older woman refused return of deposit. And so she did not want to return deposit never again

For Sills Campgrounds: We were warned about staying here from multiple people b4 we pulled in, stating that the owners are liars, shady & if ur not in their clique, you'll have nothing but problems. We thought it wouldn't be a problem bc we are nice people, keep to ourselves, keep a nice site, follow rules, etc. BOY WERE WE WRONG! They started off by lying saying that Wifi was included with FT rent. We get here, they give us a password & it doesn't work. I call the office & am told by the same person that I set the reservation with, that said it was included, that due to high bills from people streaming, FTers were removed from usage ability & the wifi is only available to weekenders. Then I spoke to several weekenders & they said it doesn't work for them either! So it's a ploy to get u in. Their bathrooms are always locked bc if u don't make sure its unlocked when u leave, it stays locked. Which happens frequently when new people come in & don't realize or read the misspelled tiny sign! When others can't use it & u call to let them know they need unlocked, they get angry with you for bothering them. If they'd change the door knobs, they wouldn't have that problem! Inexpensive fix, but they refuse & take frustrations out on campers. They have 3 laundry washers & 2 were out of order for the last 6 weeks! Their dryers are 2 different prices for the same amount of time & the more expensive one barely dries. Their dog run gate is falling apart & is a flight risk unless ur standing at it the entire time. They have a leash rule but if ur staff, u don't have to follow it & my dogs were attacked by a staff members dog who was not leashed, which I never complained about it bc I was afraid to! We have been here for 6wks, & our dogs have been very behaved, but barked non-stop ONE DAY, 3 days ago. They were trying to get someone's attention bc our bird had gotten stuck in a toy & was crying. Instead of calling us during the day while it was happening, they waited to call until 6pm & said, "all ur neighbors called & complained & if this happens again, you'll be kicked out, THIS ENDS TODAY." When I told them all of our neighbors have said our dogs are great when we aren't here & there must be a problem & we'd get there immediately, they said they called them all & they all said we've never asked them how they behave & we are lying. The neighbors showed me their call logs & proved they never called, nor did Sills call them! One neighbor even told me that the owner sat across the street, heard the dogs & was flipping out, waving his arms & yelling bc they were barking & had others come stand across the street to listen for over an hour. So no one called & complained. And there was a PROBLEM! This was not common place for my dogs, the 1st time they had behaved like this & I apologized profusely! But 1 incident that I feel was understandable, & could've been handled sooner, is a reason to threaten being kicked out 5 days b4 we were pulling out anyway! Then they accused us of not picking up our dogs poop, when not only do we pick ours up but we pick up EVERY PILE we see that someone else didn't pick up! (Usually from the staffs free-running dogs.) Then we were making reservations to move bc the owner said there "was going to be changes here & there was a good chance they could accommodate us until we needed to move at the end of June" but coincidentally that didn't happen & they gave us 1 week to make other arrangements. I made a reservation elsewhere but they called & canceled it saying we were given a bad review from Sills. (This was all PRE dog barking/poop incident) We have been good tenants, never had an incident until 3 days ago, our neighbors like us & are sad we are leaving. I went to pay my last electric bill bc we pull put tomorrow & asked what they do about propane still left in their tank, they said "nothing, if u didn't use it, there's no gage that tells us whats left, you don't get a refund." But other campgrounds fill the tank & see how much it takes & then give u a refund for the difference or put that amount in your own tanks. And if u want them to fill your tanks b4 u leave, you have to pay AGAIN! I have at least 50lbs in their 100lb tank left, & I have to pay to have a 30lb filled b4 I leave if I want to have it filled! These owners are liars! They are shady & they nit pick. They tell you that all your neighbors are lying & other campgrounds are lying. Common denominator? THEM! They flaunt that people LOVE it here & never want to leave & their waiting list is sooo long... but I guarantee that is bc there are only 3 year round places in this area, NOT bc they are great like they'd have you think! Positives: Full hook up w/ underground winter water hookup & summer water hookup (not potable though, you have to purchase drinking water) Bathrooms are very nice when they're unlocked Dog run for off-leash time but has falling apart gate Playground for children Pool (I can't speak on it bc we were here for winter) but the path to it & the dog run is very steep/narrow & a trip hazard for little children. It's not marked well either to know that's the way to the area. There's a sign at the end of the road, but it doesn't show which way to go at that corner. 50 amp service Cable included Propane Service is reasonably priced but if u use their larger tanks, u don't get a refund. People living here are very nice & helpful but owners hide behind them saying they do things that they haven't done. DON'T COME HERE UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY! WE WERE WARNED AND WE DIDN'T LISTEN. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE!!! STAY AWAY! WE WILL NEVER RETURN! BOONDOCKING WOULD BE NICER THAN THIS!
