Duvall Dave
For Tillamook RV Park: First, understand that I was here in early spring.
The good: The location is great nearly across the street from the cheese factory and close to town. Although next to the highway, the noise was not a problem. Spaces are a decent size. The wifi was better than usual.
The bad: I wouldn't know about how friendly the staff is as I coudln't find them. It started a couple of weeks before we arrived. I tried to contact the them by phone and email without success over a period of a couple of weeks. No return calls; no return emails. No contact. Arriving mid afternoon found the office closed with a sign to go to the "host" site. The lady there was friendly and efficient but soon the host site sign was gone although the office remained closed our entire stay. Perhaps the friendly staff is on vacation this time of year. The park was 1/2 empty being occupied by long term units and not particularly tidy. I couldn't find a trash can that wasn't filled to the brim. It rained everyday we were here and it was muddy. The petting zoo was unusable due to mud. It would be a nice place if tidied up a bit, dried up a bit, and had a responsive staff.

Gypsy Queen
For Tillamook RV Park: A surprising gem of a park! At first, I was a bit deterred by the proximity to the 101 highway and smallish gravel-covered spaces. However, the lovely lawn surrounded by large trees, covered sitting area, inviting fenced dog park, playground, petting zoo, chicken coop and vegetable garden won us over...our son didn't want to leave! Free Keurig coffee, good wifi, and firewood were unexpected amenities. Showers and bathroom were clean and serviceable. Walking distance to Cheese Factory (we went twice!) and a decent crab shack restaurant. Friendly staff kept the park tidy and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay!

Deb
For Tillamook RV Park: Things I think should happen at a place that charges nearly $50 a night:
Paper towels in rest room should still be full at the end of the day
Showers should be free
Hot water should be available in the bathroom sink, even if the faucet goes off automatically
Good news: free Keurig coffee and firewood; cute animals; not as noisy as previous review suggested; wifi worked

El Hombre Del Norte
For Tillamook RV Park: Pros: very friendly staff; goats and bunnies for the kids (clear highlight for my son was getting to "walk" a goat around the park on a leash"; generous and professional Wi-Fi; clean bathrooms and shower (like really clean, a wonderful surprise); complementary Keurig coffee and hot chocolate, DVDs and a bundle of firewood for the fire ring. Did i mention the nice staff? We felt very welcome. Also, walking distance to the Tillamook Cheese factory.
Cons: Some road noise from 101. Didn't bother us but be aware, you won't be sited in the silent forests.
We stayed longer than we planned because we enjoyed it so much. Great base to explore the coast.
