For Humbug Mountain State Park: Great location and beach but very very crowded. 25 people on two sites next to us. Do not understand why this is allowed. Seems to be the case in most Oregon parks nowadays Road noise in upper campground. Immaculate bathrooms and showers, friendly staff.

Russ

For Humbug Mountain State Park: This is a nice campground if you get a site away from the highway. My wife walked to the restroom at 2 a.m. and there was a man with a bike outside the restroom. She didn’t feel safe entering the restroom. We told the rangers and they said this park has a problem with homeless people. There were many non campers using the showers and restrooms.

Dgraham

For Humbug Mountain State Park: I knew the park was close to the highway but a lot closer than I was expecting, heavy road noise starting at 5am and slowing down by 9pm. There are a lot of logging trucks and 18 wheelers that use this coast road. Park is ok, no privacy between sights and the sites are not very well maintained by the state. It looks like the grass has not been cut for at least a couple months in B loop while A loop looked much better maintained, not sure why the difference. The beach is a short walk from loop B and the ocean here is pretty spectacular. There really isn't enough going for the park to make me want to come back for another stay.

Maggie and Joe

For Humbug Mountain State Park: We stayed here during late November 2018. This park is on the smaller side, and close to the highway, but luckily there is not too much traffic noise at night. There were two park hosts while we visited and they were extremely friendly and helpful. There is also park rangers on site during business hours. You can also buy fire wood at this park. There is no cell service unless you walk down to the beach and there is no wifi. The park is close to Port Orford, a very small town. However there were two interesting and good restaurants. NCRocky

For Humbug Mountain State Park: Decent state park campground with hiking trails to the mountain and beach. Restrooms were clean, sites were a little short for longer units. Park staff could care less whether you need assistance or not, asked the park ranger to address a problem and she promised follow up the next day, never heard from her.

Jimnillijana

For Humbug Mountain State Park: This is a wonderful, inexpensive, family-oriented park with ample opportunity for recreation via hiking or beach walking and bike riding for kids. We thought the spaces for trailers/ campers/rv's were well screened and of ample size, with fire rings and picnic tables.
Cell phone reception is poor except at the beach. The highway is close by but we tuned it out after a day and it is quite quiet at night. A nice place for relaxation. Loop B is closer to the beach.
