For Succor Creek State Natural Area: This is s primitive campground, with only a pit toilet, no water or electricity. But it's along Succor Creek, has shade trees and wide open spaces for RV or tent camping. It's in an area of a beautiful canyon and awesome rock formations. There is a hiking trail through part of the canyon but walking in the gravel road that goes through the campground is beautiful as well. It's accessible only by miles of a sometimes narrow, winding, and washboard gravel road. There are numerous 4WD trails. I pulled a 25 foot 5th wheel trailer there, the only difficulty being the sometimes narrow steep road. In early October, the flies were a force to deal with.
