For Mitchell City Park: Handy spot to stop on our way to John Day Fossil Beds. The area is a gravel parking lot next to grassy picnic park. Self pay is $25 for electric and water. No dump in the area.
Very quiet but not very picturesque. Mitchell is a very small town but had a marvelous restaurant. We were the only ones there in late August, but apparently is on a very much used bike route so many be crowded during biking season.
