For Blue Pool Campground: We stayed 5 days, surroundings were nice, however there was no water source, was informed that the pump had burned out, toilets were kept clean for pit toilets.
Pros:
Close to Oakridge for supplies
Nice setting in forest
Close to hot springs by The way clothing was optional and folks exercised that option
Semi level parking though paved, fire pits and picnic tables
Nice creek close by
Cons:
No cell service if you are in need of it
No trails or bike paths
Freight trains run from 3 Pm to 3 Am multiple trains! and there is a crossing close by that they blow the whistle at! And highway noise.
The camp host, even though friendly pestered us and other campers, friendly person but we felt the need to hide from the camp host when we seen the golf cart come around as to not be bugged. The camp maintenance person was in back of our camper 2 different times working on a pole fence.
The site is ran by American land and Leisure, golden access pass rates were 50% off at $8.50 per night.
Would give 4 stars but no water, trains and avoiding the host it gets 2 ½ stars, would not recommend extended stay but great for an overnight stop.
