For Devils Lake State Park: Unlike the more primitive Columbia Gorge SP Ainsworth, Devil’s Lake was a significant step up. The location is just off US-101 in Lincoln City which makes it an ideal basecamp for exploring the Oregon coast. Our first day was spent walking to the beach (less than 1/2 mile) followed by over 3 hours walking on the beach. We focused on the sites south of our base which were more than sufficient to fill our 5 day stay. One recommendation; Find the stairs at Otter Crest to access the beach at Devil’s Punch Bowl. Unlike Columbia Gorge there was a Ranger office manned during the day and great cellphone coverage making daily excursions very effective and enjoyable. The Toilet/Shower building was cleaned regularly but heavy usage reduced their rating to average. Many of the sites, like ours, are old, not quite level, tight and ringed by thick vegetation making the asphalt pads the low point. The driver side of our site was muddy every morning from the marine mist or light rain. Generally this campground was a good value for an Oregon Coast vacation.

For Devils Lake State Park: Strange little park right in the middle of Lincoln City with houses all about. Stayed 1 night Feb 16, 2022. B28 full service site enough room for my truck camper and boat trailer. Easy to get cell service. In the trees, sites close but vegetation between sites for some privacy. Staff friendly shower clean. Muddy walk to some water. Only a few other campers, tents sites seemed bit more private. OK place if visiting the area otherwise good stopover when going north.

For Devils Lake State Park: Stayed here 2 nights in early May 2017. Location is right off of highway 101 in the city. Clean, quiet, tree lined sites. However, many sites in A loop, and the lower sites in B loop were flooded/had standing water, appears to be common in the winter and spring. Docks were cut off by a 10ft stretch of water across the walk in path. Our site (B31) had a very narrow pad that was a tight squeeze to get both my 22ft trailer and truck within the site, site had full hook-ups and 15A/30A/50A service. Bathrooms were clean and close to all sites in each loop. Would stay here again.

For Devils Lake State Park: No reservations but they had a tent site open, just what I needed! Clean campground/ camp site. The restrooms were a short walk away and were clean and the showers were free. Walked out to the lake and there was a boat dock with several slips, but no boat launch area. You must have to launch elsewhere. Nice campground, I would stay here again.

Could not see lake due to Trees... wouldn't know there was a lake there but didn't have time to do much exploring.

For Devils Lake State Park: Very close to town. We had a crappy site with a mud puddle at our door step. Very busy. Lake was disappointing as it has already problems and you can't swim in it. Would stay there again just not on a long weekend.

For Devils Lake State Park: We reserved our campsite for March 8th, when we arrived, we found the information board to be full of events happening right at our door step and a lot with-in walking distance.
The campground roads and directions to the alphabetized loops and numbered campsites were well marked, even our reserved site was marked with our last name. Very Cool!
Our site had full hook-up with water, sewer, electric and even cable.
Our campsite was large and spacious with a nice picnic table and a ground fire pit tucked beneath tall shade trees.
It was very quite, very clean, well maintained and I loved the availability of the local firewood. Helps protect our forests!
Devils Lake State Park is smack dab in the middle of Lincoln City, close to some of the best restaurants, lots free entertainment and not to mention the incredible shopping at the Outlet Mall, Great prices!
Great time!
Defiantly coming back!
