For Mud Creek Campground: We came up here just before Memorial day. It's at 6100 elevation and there were snow fields on the road that we couldn't get through. We were able to camp across from the trailhead. There were deer, ground squirrels, and chipmunks which were very cute but they also were determined to set up housekeeping in my car. Our dog discouraged that. But we did not allow her to harass them otherwise.
