For Mountain View Motel and RV Park: I agree with reviewer DuoGlide, this little RV park is very, very nice. Owner is unconventional, prefers telephone over internet and didn’t provide online confirmation of our reservation, but the park is quiet, clean, very spacious, well maintained. Babbling brook beside several sites at the back, nice views of nearby mountains, small but clean restrooms. Good WiFi. Close to cute Joseph. Grassy, level gravel sites are behind the little motel and quite quiet despite the surprisingly busy hwy between Enterprise and Joseph. This is a great place to spend a few nights.

For Mountain View Motel and RV Park: Excellent campground with beautiful views. Landscaping is well taken care of, sites are level and the shower rooms are clean & well stocked. Will use again if in the area. No complaints.

For Mountain View Motel and RV Park: Make sure you have a plan B on where to stay. I made a reservation 6 1/2 weeks ahead of our arrival date to get there to find out the owner forgot and did not write it down in the book causing a major scramble to find something else after driving 6 hours and he was completely full. This is a very popular destination in the summer and over the weekends. Luckily we found something else that was nice and very accommodating to us. Since you can only make a reservation by phone maybe there needs to be another system where you can get a confirmation sent via email and avoid this from happening to someone else.

For Mountain View Motel and RV Park: This place is a jewel! With the well manicured landscape the mountain views and a great owner, you can’t NOT stay here! We stayed for three nights and wish we could stay forever! With the breathtaking views and the remote location it was hard to leave. It’s nice to see the pride that the owner puts into this place. It’s a very kickback, low-key and he was a real pleasure to deal with. We met the housekeeper for the cabins that are on property too and she was just as nice as could be. There is little to no road noise from the freeway which we were concerned with and he provides fire pits and picnic tables which are new, clean, and well kept. We will definitely be coming back here on our next trip to Oregon we may even stay for an entire week. You can really relax at a place like this. There was no WiFi offered which is a big deal in this area as there is limited cell service.

For Mountain View Motel and RV Park: We were invited by friends to join them at this park. We're self contained and don't use the facilities, except for an occasional shower. We stayed weeknights in mid-August in our 25 foot MH.
This is a small, meticulously maintained RV park. The reasonably-sized sites are lined up in a horseshoe behind the hotel with a nice view of the Wallowa mountains. Most sites are gravel, a few are grass and all are level. Some sites are shady while others are in full sun. Most sites are water and electric only. The showers were clean with plenty of hot water. The park wifi was good. There is good ATT and Verizon coverage. The park manager was friendly and helpful. We read older reviews and had a very different experience. The number of sites had been reduced in the past few years. New ownership?
The town of Joseph with shops and restaurants is 2 miles away. There are hiking trails in the Wallowas, ask for trail info at the Ranger Station. There is swimming at Wallowa Lake, 5 miles from the RV park.
