For Fort Stevens State Park: This is a great state park. My only negative was that we had no Verizon (we were in M08). Otherwise, it was a beautiful stay. We had a mostly private space. We were able to take the dogs to the lake which they loved. Got some great walks in, and the kids loved running around the gun batteries.

For Fort Stevens State Park: Stayed two nights site F-236 March 19, 20, 2020 in a truck camper. Given that the Oregon State Parks are closing soon because of the virus scare this park was busy and full of families enjoying themselves. This is a big camping park ,however, the smaller loop arrangement makes it more pleasant. Road in F loop was tight and backing 20+ trailers into small but paved spaces was challenging (and fun to watch). My camper filled my slot and although it was paved it was not level. Only electric in this loop with very weak Verizon and I did not even try to use satellite. This site is in midst of lovely old growth forest. Beach was about a mile off and was being enjoyed. A park road lead to point where you in theory could see the Columbia River but construction on a jetty pretty much blocked the view. I did not use facilities at park. Staff were helpful and pleasant.

For Fort Stevens State Park: Our first time staying in a State Park, booked our spot only 3 days before arriving as it was the only State Park along the Oregon coast with availability on short notice. Fort Stevens State Park is beautiful!! Reminds me of our Provincial Parks in BC. We stayed in F228 and it was completely private! The paved trail to the beach made for a great walk and we were able to rent electric bikes to ride for 2 hours along the beach. Such a great trip and I would highly recommend this State Park. The staff at the rangers station were extremely kind as well. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip shorter than expected but I look forward to returning!

For Fort Stevens State Park: Enjoyed this campgrounds walking/biking trails and wide beach. The older loops (C-J) have sites that are more spacious than newer loops(L-O). Showers were warm and free.

For Fort Stevens State Park: Lovely park, with many loops providing full hookups. We came in early June 2019, and no one asked us not to use the on site sewer connection, so we did with no issues. Hosts were great and out and about. Did not use bathrooms or showers, but the on site hiking and beaches are great. There are some large mosquitos that hang out in the shade. Campsites are semi private, and wooded. Some more sunny than others. But full 50 amp hookups made this stay super easy. Lots to do in the area as well with the Lewis and Clark NHP and other state parks in the area. Astoria has some great museums and restaurants. We like this area in general for visiting, prefer fall when it is a bit drier and no bugs. I would give this park a 5 star rating, but it is expensive for a state park, with all of the services I am sure that is why the price is so high. Spotty for our Verizon hot spot, we had to move it around to find a signal. Once we got it, everything worked ok.

For Fort Stevens State Park: Nice bathrooms, nice place with a good site. In the woods and a cool shipwreck within a bit of a walk. Walking paths right there and easy to access. Nice that there are so many non-reservable loops so we showed late and still found a great site. Would stay again.

For Fort Stevens State Park: Big park, loops off the main park collector road, each loop had shaded sites at back and more open at front. Sites were about 30' apart. LtE Cell ATT Tmob closer to collector, 1-2 bar at best.
