For South Jetty RV & Camping Resort: The woods are Jurassic Park intense, each space is basically carved out of woods. It was like dusk all day and many people put their camp chairs in the road to get some sun. The spaces are an eclectic mix of water, water and sewer, and 30 and 50 amp. Much of the area with sewer had signs Grey water only. I did not use the pool but it looked beautiful and was cut out of the woods to have sunshine. It is cool year round here but can get quite hot in heat snaps but then goes back to being cool. Town of Florence near and cute. Verizon unusable most of the time even for data on my phone with my large booster.

For South Jetty RV & Camping Resort: Once again I have to laugh at the negative reviews as I've seen one-star locations and this place isn't one of them. I can only imagine that those people will never be happy outside of a KOA Journey campground (which usually seems to have pizza delivery). This Thousand Trails campground, like many of them, is older and not as up to date as some full retail locations. However, it's a clean, safe, gated campground with friendly rangers. I'm dinging this place one star for the roads, which in some places are as not quite as bad as the national park roads next door. I would class the worst of it in this park as "rather rough" while the NP roads next door are "rough", "unreasonably rough", "are-you-kidding-me rough".
Some of the corners are deceptive and inexperienced travelers could easily take damage if they are inattentive, so pay attention to your rig on the corners, remember to swing wide, and don't be shy if someone is parked too far into the road. There are lots of big rig sites here, but with some (such as A16) you'll need to be experienced at backing in and lining your rig up as it's a challenging fit with 4 slides. If you don't care if you get a site with sewer, you'll have a lot more options and much more room. The forest here is stunning and completely different from northern Oregon and Washington. The campground itself is in a tsunami safe zone, unlike a lot of campgrounds along the coast. It's late October so the pool is closed, however one of the two outdoor whirlpools are open (the other is down for maintenance). The facilities are older, but decently kept. The laundry is better than some with quite a few washers ($1.50) and driers ($0.25 / 10 min). There are several sites closed off because they need work, but the number is not excessive. I know TT has been upgrading a few campgrounds each year, so when this one makes the top of the list it should become a jewel once again. The area is amazing and the town is a gem. There are only two WiFi hot spots but AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon have really decent signals and streaming is not an issue. We're beginning to leave the coffee crazed part of the north west so there are only about a half dozen coffee shops (River Roasters is really decent with riverside seating). Check out the dunes and drive up and down the coast as some of the sights are breath taking.

For South Jetty RV & Camping Resort: This facility is awful, especially considering the very high price. The facility does not actually provide a reserved space, you are simply told to go an find an open site. The roads are poorly maintained gravel and very narrow making maneuvering for larger rigs very difficult. The pads are uneven, poorly maintained, and often very cramped. The service portals like water faucets and electrical hookups are old and in poor repair. Sewer connections are limited. The bathrooms are hideously filthy and old. WiFi is only available within the facility activity building for limited hours. The price us among the highest you'll find. ATV noise from the Dunes NRA is an issue. Overall the worst facility I've ever paid to stay in.

For South Jetty RV & Camping Resort: Beautiful park, setting, trees, private sites. Noise from ATVs on the weekends from the dunes. Will go back again.

For South Jetty RV & Camping Resort: We are very happy to have found this park. We love wooded sites. This is perfect. Quiet and peaceful. No doubt we would stay here again and will recommend it to anyone heading this way.
