For Tomahawk Resort And RV Park: We have stayed in both a cottage and an RV site for over 10 yrs. Family owned resort that continually updates their facilities (office, marina, cottages). Well maintained and very friendly staff.
They also give great advice on where the fish are biting. RV sites are full hookup and very level. We have no problem with our motor coach getting into our site. Marina has all single slips and full service.
It is the best place to stay in Sunset Country.

For Tomahawk Resort And RV Park: Prior to arrival at the park, we noticed new Tomahawk Resort and RV Park signs on the highway. Upon driving down Tomahawk Road, the lane was very well manicured. Entering the park was the same. Very inviting and clean. We checked out the new Office building where there are washrooms, and laundry facilities. Again, immaculately clean and new. Our drive-through site was close to the lake, and level. No need to block up the wheels on our fifth wheel camper. Overall experience checking in was friendly and welcoming. I would not look at the previous negative comments, as they are not accurately describing this park!!! I would highly recommend this park.

For Tomahawk Resort And RV Park: When you check out look carefully at your bill. The rates seem to be different for Canadians than for US citizens and the exchange rate is “None of your businessâ€. There’s something fishy going on with the tax rate too and they will not explain how it is calculated. These are some pretty slick operators, in my opinion. There attitude borders on extreme arrogance.
With as much money they are taking in one would think that some could be spent on renovating the out dated toilets and showers. I have not seen any more neglected.thrombus

For Tomahawk Resort And RV Park: Like all Resort Parks there is good and bad. For example the cabins look very nice and well cared for. The onsite RV Park though is kind of like the tail of the dog. It is run down and neglected. The most awful feature of the park is the gross restrooms and showers. They are one step above an open pit. The showers are generally filthy and the toilet situation is even worse. There is no handicapped stall or elevated toilet…instead there are three low small round toilets that would better suited for a children’s restroom.
The park is family owned which can be very nice IF the family members know what the other ones are doing. The family is composed of an older father and mother, their two sons and daughter in laws. The members are often not on the same page which results in much confusion.
The resort is more than likely an extremely profitable operation. Surely they can afford to remodel the restrooms and showers.
We will not stay again.
