For Franklin Motel Tent and Trailer Park: Sites are very level which is great. Water was clear and good so had no problems there. I use a surge protector when I plug in and I could hear it when I was drawing power with several lights on... it would in and off adjusting the power coming into the trailer. The people were very nice and friendly. Did laundry... only 1 washer and 1 dryer but for 40 sites and a small motel that is all they really need... 2.00 per load... very reasonable. There is a pool and a small children’s playground. They do need to renovated their bathrooms and showers but they were ok for our use. I would not hesitate to stay here again!!!It’s June 2019.

For Franklin Motel Tent and Trailer Park: Girl at the desk was very friendly, sites are level and it's quiet in September.
That's the only nice things I can say about it.
Had to run the water for a full 2 minutes before it started to clear enough to hook up to our RV. Not drinkable with all the rust in their water lines. Sites are very small and close together. Took a lot of careful maneuvering to be able to use all the hook ups as they're in strange spots, not close together and not all of the power outlets work.
Whomever gave the place a 5 out of 5 stars must also be satisfied with a cold, 10 day old McDonalds burger when he asked for Prime Rib.

For Franklin Motel Tent and Trailer Park: I got a premium pull through site at about 40 bucks with full hookups. The sewer is newer with standard diameter and took my full washouts with no problems at all. The water is located well with clear and good tasting water. Hydro was only 50 amp, but I used my dog bone 50 to 30 amp adapter, used my surge protector and all worked fine. (The adapter drops one of the 4 wires in the 50 amp plug to give you 30 amps at the female end if your adapter). The site has lots of room to enter and leave. Also the roads are cleared good with trees. He does grade his roads well, although I did require one level up on my trileveler under the tires.

They are very polite and accommodating management. They have a large crystal clear swimming pool. Which is handy to all sites. This campground location is the best one in North Bay as it is right down town with a huge shopping centre next door.

We are very happy with this campground and highly recommend this site to travellers.
