For Lake of Two Rivers - Algonquin Provincial Park: We were looking for a campground that would be central to Algonquin Park. We're self-contained and don't use the facilities except for an occasional shower. We visited in late May (after the long weekend) in our 8 meter (25 foot) motor home.
This is a very nice campground, very convenient to the attractions along route 60 through the park. Although the sites are situated among tall pines without much greenery, they are relatively large allowing for some privacy. (Note that some sites would require an extension cord to plug in due to size.) Most sites are mostly shaded and are level or require minor leveling. Some sites have lake views. The push-button showers were clean with ample water pressure and hot water. Our ATT and Verizon phone had good voice and data coverage while roaming on Bell. Mews Lake Campground is approximately 1 km (1/2 mi) away on a path and is very similar to Lake of Two Rivers.
There is easy access to hiking and canoeing along route 60. The Visitor Centre and Logging Museum were fun and informative.
