For Talimena State Park: We were here on a Friday night in mid-May. Ten RV spaces - all level or close. The RV campground is right on the highway and the road noise is significant, particularly on the lowest numbered spaces. We had seen concerns elsewhere about the bathrooms not being clean. They were clean when we were there, but dated and minimal - one combo restroom/shower each for men and women. There was a second building in the tent area that may very well be restrooms/showers and just not open yet for the summer season. We had also seen that the park and restrooms are frequented by groups driving ATVs in the area, and right after we arrived, as we were walking the park to check things out, a group of about 10 ATVs arrived, drove right up to the restrooms like they owned the place, and stayed 20-30 minutes. They were adults and weren’t rude or anything like that - they were just there. And they weren’t staying in the campground. On the other hand, this small park is very nice and is the beginning of the Ouachita Trail and we walked just a little way down it as well as another trail that starts at the park.
