Traveling with the T
For Tinker AFB FamCamp: $19 a night for full hookup. No WiFi, 50 cent laundry, free ice. There is a pond, walking trails, and playground nearby. You will need to unhook your vehicle, spots are not big enough for truck and camper. Base is a little hard to navigate but I think it's just the map we received. Overall a great stop!

For Tinker AFB FamCamp: Great park. Some sites have lovely view of lake and ducks, geese. Sites tight but doable. Miles of walking paths. No wifi. Serpentine entry at designated RV gate, just take it slow. Don't use on base post office ZIP for mail forwarding - very difficult to find, different location from real PO, limited hours. Priority mail is NOT treated with Priority once on base. Loud reveille at 7 am M-F! We have 33 ft Allegro.

For Tinker AFB FamCamp: The Fam Camp is awesome!!!! Linda does a beautiful job of keeping this place clean, neat, safe and I could go on. Being a host is not an easy job and I am certainly thankful for Linda. This has been one of the few bases that we have stayed on that is run top notch!!!! It is great to have a clean laundromat that is only .50 cents a load. The showers/bathrooms are just as clean. I am thanking my lucky stars for Linda and this Fam Camp!!!!

For Tinker AFB FamCamp: Outstanding as usual. Linda, the host is the greatest. Be sure and call ahead for space availabilty and which gate to enter the base. The truck gate is closed to rv's and other gares are closed on holidays & weekends. Stayed in 40' motorhome.

For Tinker AFB FamCamp: Nice small, clean, camp next to pond. Linda, the Camphost, was very helpful and knew the area well. Bathhouse and laundry room were very clean (washers and dryers 50 cents). Well maintained grounds, but back in spaces were close to each other and on street parking was tight. Use the commercial gate for easy access with your rig. Camp is within 1/2 mile of gate. Spent 1 night in 30' travel trailer.

For Tinker AFB FamCamp: Linda, the camp host, was very informative and helpful. She even helped me back in. The grounds and facilities are nice. The spacing between the sites is smaller than normal and it's not easy to back into the sites. The price for campers with full hookup is $19 a night so the price is right. No wifi but cell service, at least for us, is/was strong. Recommend you enter from the south part of Tinker as the gate then is 1/2 mile away. Review wrote 29 June 2016

For Tinker AFB FamCamp: Nicely done campground, paved roads, level pads. Friendly people checked us in and gave us base info. Nice commissary and BX. A great overnight stop.
