For Valley Inn RV Park: So yes, the train is loud… No big deal. The stockyard is loud too- but that would not be so weird, if it was not for the incessant drone of small engines… It sounds like there’s a day and night, rain or shine, motorcycle racing track… this combined with the unhappy cows made my wife very uncomfortable. For me, it was not the end of the world. The end of the world was that the bathrooms were not available. We never even thought to ask because we’ve never stayed at a private campground for $30 or more. (This was $40)-without a toilet, or a shower. The reason the review is one star is because they did not warn us about this, and discount the price. The people were nice, and apologetic, but only when we called them at night, when locked out of the bathhouse… There was no heads up on this, no warning on the map that things were not working- and we did learn a very important lesson… Ask the obvious questions! The electricity works, and I assume the water as well, but we were in such a hurry to get out of there I don’t know -

For Valley Inn RV Park: What a dump!! Muddy and poorly laid out. Owner less than accommodating .

For Valley Inn RV Park: We used for an overnight on way south. The trains do run close but was not a bother for us. Would not be a bad park but management must not inspect cause trash and dog poop everywhere , will probably not stop again

For Valley Inn RV Park: We stopped here for one night on our way north. The staff was nice and the price was good, but we had a miserable stay. Directly behind the campground is a huge cattle barn. The noise from the cattle, and fro an auction that seemed to be taking place was horrendous. If that were not enough discouragement, numerous trains run through all night with their horns blaring. We are very used to noisy campgrounds. But this was the worst we have ever experienced.

For Valley Inn RV Park: Woman was very nice who checked us in. Bath house us old but nice enough. My only complaint has nothing to do with ownership, the trains were pretty awful that pass through the town very close to where we spent the night. Almost every 2 hours ALL night long the trains loudly blow for at least 5 minutes solid. I got no sleep that night

For Valley Inn RV Park: Park has changed hands in the last year. Locally owned by a young couple. This park not foreign owned for sure. Nice to see American faces at the counter. I've stayed here off and on over the years and the park is in good clean order. Great place to camp overnight or for a few days!!!
