For Eagles Landing Resort and Recreation: When checking in they didn’t have our reservation but we had an email confirmation with the dates and locations. “Unluckily” they found our reservation on the wrong date (not sure how that happened since I had an email confirmation with the correct dates). We were told to provide shot records for our dog but they never asked for them. They were told it was our first time but negated to give us a rundown or a map of where things were on the “resort”. The amenities that were advertised were limited. There was only one pond, not two. The one pond you could use paddle boats on had to be accessed from a wasp infested deck followed by a bridge that appeared would break if an adult walked on it down to a floating deck. The “walking trail” lead to another “bridge” the was about to collapse, no game room, or fitness center. The one bedroom cabin was not fully equipped with all the items they said they would provide. When the front desk was told they didn’t bother to address it. The shower door didn’t shut and again when they were told they admitted they knew about it but did nothing to fix it. The bed provided should have been a queen but it was a full, the couch in the place looked like it had been through a few disgusting parties, the kitchen area had an odd smell to it, fly guts smashed all over the windows, they didn’t bother to sweep the eaves of the porch to remove spiderwebs or other bug carcasses. The stove burners were covered in oil and when we turned it on it started stinking the whole cabin and the WiFi they provided was very poor. We couldn’t stay more than one night and upon leaving we were made to pay the entire reservation. Do Not Stay Here! If you are providing your own place it might be better but if you have kids and like the amenities they are advertising, they don’t exist! Go elsewhere.

For Eagles Landing Resort and Recreation: Park appears to be getting a face lift with landscaping and pool updates. There are two sections , one by the main entrance, pool and bathhouse area. This has FHU and is closest to the highway. The other is on a peninsula with the lake on three sides which is where we stayed with E&W only. Sadly, it is basically a field with very few trees. You can rent a tiny fire pit for $5 a day if you want to roast hotdogs, but ours was bent and torn up and you would not be able to cook or grill on it so you better have your own grill. There are no picnic tables but they will bring you one if you ask. There appears to be a concrete pad on most of the sites (for the table?) that are about 8x10. A flush toilet is located in the middle of the peninsula but it must be pumped out and the smell is horrid. It took them three trips to get the job done. We had hoped to find a park on the water because we love the lake but will keep looking...Hopefully they will keep the improvements going to include the peninsula.

For Eagles Landing Resort and Recreation: Lot or traffic noise in pull thrus that are up front near road. Basically deserted this time of year. Cabins/facilities very nice on outside, didn't go in.
RV sites need some updates, concrete cracked, not level. Hookups all good on 50 amp. WiFi excellent. Lot of water activities if staying longer.
