For Lake Alma State Park: Original site #50 had a deep drain ditch in front so we had to change to full hookup #57. Excruciatingly difficult to turn around in the park. Water had a lot of blue green algae, wouldn’t let the dogs in. Entranceway to the campground poorly marked, we missed it first time and had to exit the park. Sites are very unlevel, front to back and side to side. Only a few suitable or deep enough to park our 25 ft trailer and leave the truck hooked up.
Campground was dirty and littered, needs serious investment.
Volunteer staff were very friendly.

For Lake Alma State Park: Good...Very friendly camp hosts and employees. Peaceful campground in a pretty setting. We did not use the bathrooms or the lake so cannot review them.
Bad....The entrance into the campground is a very sharp unmarked left turn. Many full hookup sites are not level and are hard for a big rig to park in them. We drive a large truck pulling a 40' fifth wheel. We could not back into our site number 64 because of the steep bank and several dumpsters on the right side. We were forced to drive to the back of the park and make a U-turn around a bathroom to approach the campsite from another angle. With the help of the camp host we were able to back into a tight squeeze. After we parked we had a nice stay for 4 nights. The water smelled and tasted very metallic. I'd advise people to take drinking water even with a water hookup.

For Lake Alma State Park: We recently spent two nights at Lake Alma. The campground is lovely. Our site - 55 was not quite level but it had 30 amp, water and sewer. We camped here in a 40 foot Motorhome. We would return.
