For Van Buren State Park: This is a great little state park, quiet, very well maintained with paved roads and paved level sites. Pit type restroom (very clean), no showers. There is only electric (30/50amp) at the sites but water is being added along with new electric service to all sites in 2024. Currently there is a central fresh water hydrant. The dump station in about a mile away from the camp sites in another section of the park but a new dump station is also being added in 2024 at the camping area. Great stop over while traveling on I-75 or a quiet place for regular camping. There are picnic tables and fire rings at the site, also a playground area, hiking trails, archery range and a lake.

For Van Buren State Park: Good spot to stop if traveling I-75 but not much to offer. Only 2 potable water sites to get water. No running water or restrooms only pit toilets but clean and easy to use.

For Van Buren State Park: Perfectly nice spot, good for a one night stop over. We stayed Monday night after Labor Day. From the reservation board it had been almost full but now only 6 sites occupied. The area was very neat and clean. Nice gravel level sites. Fairly well marked trail system but nothing spectacular. Used by horses so muddy in spots.

For Van Buren State Park: What a serene, peaceful place! Thanks to the other reviews, I checked it out tonight....amazing. Self check-in at the front and that's it.

For Van Buren State Park: A possible gem in the rough. This is a long skinny park with a very attractive small lake and park area at one end and an very isolated pair of equestrian and non-equestrian campgrounds at the other end. Unfortunately to drive from one part to the other you must leave the park although there do seem to be some trails connecting the two parts. Signage is minimal. It took us half an hour to guess how to get to the campground.
We spent our two nights almost alone in a fairly pleasant campground. Don't plan on a lot of activity but a great stopover.

For Van Buren State Park: Great little spot 5min. From I75. Basic but spread out, lots of trees, nice for 1 night stop over.
